The resulting confection is moist and buttery with a unique sugar crust, a taste that earned this cake the Blue Ribbon and Best of Show at the North Carolina State Fair. Over the years many have called this “the best cake” they’ve ever tasted - hence the name for our website!

Our cakes taste best at room temperature. They will remain delicious on your counter for up to 10 days, refrigerated for up to 3 weeks, or frozen for up to 6 months! Don’t want the whole cake? Cut a portion and freeze the rest!
